Hi all, hope someone can answer my question. I want to retake one of my C's that I received in college. The class was Genetics. I am wondering if replacement will count given these course descriptions:

Original Class - Genetics
This course is designed to examine the gene in the following dimensions: the gene as a unit of transmission, a unit of function, and a unit of mutation. In addition, the distribution and activity of genes in populations will be considered in the context of current theories of evolution. Lectures will assume that the student has the equivalent of one-third of a term of basic genetics.

New Class - Genetic and Evolutionary Biology
The study of heredity and the mechanism of transmission of genetic information in biological systems. The course material is approached from the population, organismic, and biochemical perspectives.

How picky is AACOMAS regarding the course titles? I really appreciate the help!

Does anyone have any experience with a similar situation?

classmate of mine retook "genetics" with a "genetics of humans" and it worked. n=1

Does anyone have any experience with a similar situation?
I had a similar situation with a Biology class, they replaced it. As an aside, is that you in your avatar? I recommend changing that.

If the courses are both the same credit amount then it should likely work without issue.
