Hey guys,

Even after a few years of practice, and using loupes at 2.7x magnification (without light), I feel like I still have trouble properly visualizing my field. A lot of the time, my work is not at the level I want it to be, and it is because I simply cannot see properly.

Does anyone else face the same problem and have any tips or tricks?

I've used a 3.5x since dental school, and I love it. One tip is to be sure to have plenty of lens wipes / cleaners handy - there's so much stuff that comes back at you and coats the lenses, keeping them clean makes a big difference.

The biggest piece of advice I can give you is to get a light. A light makes a huge difference, and if I had to choose between the two, I'd rather have the light than the loupes, as far as being more effective to help me see.

Get a light and see how that works. If you're still not happy consider upping your mag

Thank you very much guys!
