Trouble visualizing 3D of Cubes

Hey Guys,

I don't know if this is just me but I just can't seem to picture the 3D image of this cube counting figure (attached photos) ... The 3D image on CTP just doesn't seem to match what I see.

Is anyone else having trouble with this or is it just me?

Yeah, it looks a little funky. The best way to do this problem is by remembering the rule that all cubes must be supported so you can imagine the cubes on the left being on the very ground level.

You are unlikely to encounter a problem that's confusing like this on the real DAT.
 
Yeah that's why I kept going crazy on this actually... I thought there were two rows on top but it didn't make sense because the second one (the one to the left side) would be totally unsupported. I didn't think that there is no "left row" but just two rows on the right on top of one another... makes sense now...
