If you are thinking about going to MCPHS (Boston campus), this honest guide will really improve your experience here (http://mcphslifehack.tumblr.com/). I know MCPHS is a popular choice because they have a higher acceptance rate than many other pharmacy schools, and you will hear a lot of nasty things said about this school. Please, I urge you to give this a read before going there. I wish this was around when I was a first year. 🙂

This sounds like every undergrad. Certainly not unique to have inflated book prices (that you won't need to read anyway), inflated meal prices (with sometimes poor food), inflated dorm prices (with small rooms), etc.

i know a couple of MCP grads and this is consistent with their experiences.

as a preceptor, i would also add that in terms of things that actually matter to advanced pharmacy education, their APPE rotation selection process is terrible (in that students get placed to rotations that are totally inappropriate, and some rotations are total jokes) and there is huge variability in student quality.
