Ok, so christmas has come and gone, and so have my parents. Their entire time here, all I hear is: 'when you get into medical school...this.....when you get into medical school that....'
OK, it's nice to have supporting parents, but all I've got to wait on is Colorado and nonrolling schools, so basically, I have the next 11 weeks to wait. I was doing real well keeping my sanity, and now medical school is all I can think about! I'm thinking of running again this evening (already ran 4 miles today) to try and get all this mental masterbation/worry about medical school out of my system.

There. *sigh* At least I feel a little better. Please feel free to vent in order to recapture a small part of your own sanity!

I know what you mean. I have nothing to do right now and med school is the only thing on my mind. I try not to think about it but friends and family keep on talking about it......bah......this would not be happening if i had least had an interview by this time........🙁

Yeah parents + medical school talk = stress. I try to avoid the subject entirely.

yeah, I haven't even applied yet, and my parents are already at it. it's funny because they were very "go wherever you want for college" "your grades are your responsibility, we won't punish you for them", but now that I want to go to med school it's like OMG WHERE ARE YOU GOING WE WANT YOU TO GO HERE (Penn or Hopkins)!

one more week before I return to school/sanity...
