Is there anyone out there who has any answer for me:

* Do you receive any decision (acceptance/rejection) letter this week? I don't!

* If you are a current pharmacy student at TSU, how late was your classmate receiving the decision letter last year? June, July, August?

* What should I do to find out what is my status?

BTW, I was interviewed on April 5. And still waiting... Still having hope... but waiting is painful....

Thanks for your kind answerssssssss.

I write you this message, just because I hope you could really really calm down. I know you are very very very nervous now.
I know someone get accepted last year at the time when it is just two day before the fall semester begins.
Tomorrow is Friday, go directly to the TSU admission office, asking them about your application. Don't be hesitated, just let them know you need to schedule your fall semester.
As far as I know, the President of TSU pre-health club didn't get anything from them either by the beginning of May. So you are not the only way get fricked out.
I wish you could get in, since I can tell you tried really really hard. Now it is time for you to re-evaluate your interview, your grades and PCAT score, think about it, see if everything is alright.

Raining,
Thanks a lot for your kindness.

Does the President of TSU pre-health club receive the decision letter yet?

Dabumba.FYI.

My biochem classmates at UH received decline letter from TSU yesterday. So there is really decline letter at TSU. She is told there were too many applicants this year and she is not selected.

She scored 69 percentile PCAT and 3.5 GPA, pharmacy tech.... Her interview with TSU went through smoothly, did well on her essay. It is just too much competition this year.

Good luck.

Raining,
Please tell your friend that I just received my rejection letter today. OUCH!
My GPA 3.73, PCAT 77. I am disappointed. However, there are chances next year.

sorry dabumba that you were rejected because you seemed so motivated for this school

raining,

does being president of a health club really matter that much to tsu? I was the president of the prepharmacy association at UH last year. Maybe that was why i was accepted?

I heard there were 1500 applicants this year. is that true? if that is, then thats just crazy. tsu must be making the big bucks charging 100 dollars for the application fee!

I don't know why they accept you. You can ask UH COP not me. But you are holding an important position at PPA, you did your community work and show your leadership, that's an advantage.

I don't know how many applicants they received this year. I am UH student as you. You may ask TSU admission office for more detail statistics of this year.

Dabumba, I am so sorry to hear about it. However, I am glad that you are going to re-apply next year. You are not selected just because it becomes more and more competitive this year.

I heard from that girl who also got declined that there will be a workshop at TSU this June, talking about application and something else. They will begin the 2006 application since then. So try to sign up this workshop asap. That will do you good.

Where there is a will, there is a way.
