I interviewed in the AM session as well on the 11th. Havent heard anything. Ive been checking mail daily, saying today is the day.

I heard some people get phone calls, so Im kind of mentally preparing myself for that let down, but hopefully all the best for all of us.

Really? People who interviewed the 11th got phone calls? I didn't know anyone, so I don't know if everyone is in the same boat.

Are we still supposed to all by the 9th if we don't get a letter by then? I was told the letters would be mailed on Thursday of last week. Oh well...what a few more days.

It seems like there are several on the high waitlist, and close to none on middle and low. Anyone else noticing that? And, any waitlist movement?

It's probably because people on the high wait list have a higher chance of getting in, so they are more willing to post/discuss. I was low wait listed at one school, and I haven't really posted/kept up with that school/thread because there is a very low chance I'll get in.

From what I've heard and seen, the waitlist at Touro has a good amount of movement. I think we'll be fine 🙂

I agree with you, GuidedWaves. Others have posted about being placed on the medium waitlist earlier on in the year. So it has happened. Does anyone know when the final deposit is due? For some reason I thought it was due by May 14th. I'm really, really hoping that we will start to see more movement in the next few weeks. When I last spoke with Taylor he said that movement picks up in May because students have to finalize their plans for the fall and so they start to see more spots open up. This waiting thing has become extremely hard (I've been waiting since December). I'm trying to not give up hope but some days are harder than others.

I believe MD schools have a May 15 decision deadline and the last Touro payment deadline is what you said. So I think once these two events occur and people start moving off wait lists, movement will start moving more. I would imagine a lot of people sit on the Touro NV acceptance list until the last payment deadline due to the refund policy.

Are you the person who drove me home?! I don't really have any advice. Waiting is hard. But, Taylor said that currently 1 or 2 withdrawals are coming in per week. There is definitely going to be movement. Don't worry everyone.

I'm freaking out because I have to get ready to move.

Yeah, I saw a phone call from 702 that wasn't any of my friends or family. I'm glad I answered. I know how you feel though. I checked my email way too much this past year.

Congrats to everyone who got accepted. I'm on the high wait list too. Hopefully they'll get through it this year. In my opinion, the mandatory attendance policy was a big reason why people withdrew in previous years. But they didn't have it last year and the waitlist movement seemed to be slower. Does anyone think this is the case?

I'm going to say that the attendance policy played little effect on movement. I would guess that the list really starts moving a week or so after the last payment deadline (after the office is done updating everything). I hope they get through a lot of students on the WL too.

I was told that they have never accepted anyone off of the medium wait-list. It will be interesting to watch this wait-list tracking activity.

Hey guys, if you're on the wait list, just hang in there. Last year's wait list was quite the saga (you can read last year's thread if you'd like). Having gone through it, I can advise to just relax and try to wait patiently. We didn't see any real movement last year until mid June I think, but it appears that things are moving more quickly this year. Unfortunately, it's not a predictable process. It's always good to be prepared to either get the call or to not get the call. I hope that you all get in!

Hey! You should check out the facebook page for the DO class, even though you're doing the MHS program. You'll be getting to know people in the DO15 class really well, since you have a ton of classes with them your first year 🙂 People here are already planning some get-togethers.
