Tufts/Floating Hospital Interview?

Hey all,

Hope interview season is going well for everyone. I was wondering if people had any thoughts on the Tufts peds program. I am looking for a medium/large program affeliated with an academic institution with tertiary care services and good opportutnities for residents seeking fellowships in the future (research, exposure to attendings, etc.). I have heard mixed reviews about Tufts, especially about it's probable merger with Mass. General. I'd appreciate any thoughts, particularly from people who have interviewed there. Thanks!

At my interview, they said the Tufts peds residency would remain as is after the merger. It will not be eliminated or combined with Children's. Doing rotations over at Boston's Children's would be easier since there would be less paperwork since it would be considered in-house.
