I recently had an interview at Tufts, and now I'm driving myself crazy thinking about it. I know they said that they typically accept about 70% of interviewed students right off the bat, another 20% later, and only reject about 10% because they do so much "pre-screening", but I just can't figure out what would make them reject someone. All of the people being interviewed seemed pretty normal to me,no one who I would flat out reject based on personality. But, the admission people said that they typically reject people when they find that their personality doesn't fit with the school.
It seemed like most of the interview was just trying to make sure everything in my app was true and that i wasn't full of crap. I really didn't get many questions. I was also pretty nervous during my interview and I feel like there was a lot of awkward tension in the room with me and the two interviewers.
Does anyone have any expereince with not getting in to schools like Tufts or Case after an interview? (schools with high % of acceptance?). I will really just be kicking myself if I don't get that acceptance letter, but hey, someone has to be in that 10% of rejected students.
