Tufts vs. UDM

I’m an out of state student for both schools. Received aid for both and UDM is 50k cheaper. Could be a 15k difference if I rank high at Tufts.
I would like your opinion on a comparison between the two schools.
Which would you choose and why?

It's a private school. No difference for in state vs out of state. Besides, the state of Michigan has very strict residency laws (although this isn't applicable because UDM is in fact private).

No in-state tuition at UDM after 1 year.
