Hi guys,

I know this has been discussed somewhere before but the last posts were 2009 on this forum. I am fortunate enough to be accepted by these two schools and I am wondering what everyone's opinions are.

Cost is not the biggest concern for me, and I am admitted by the global health department of both schools. I am also slightly interested in changing to epi perhaps and I know it is possible in Tulane after my campus visit there, not sure if the same is the case for Emory. I visited Tulane and I like the city, haven't been to Emory yet since I just got the acceptance and I'm planning on going soon, what do y'all think?

Thanks loads!

PS: last posts on the TU vs EU said that one major difference is that you don't have a thesis for Tulane, but apparently they offer that option now.

If money isn't a problem, and you're thinking of switching to Epi, I'd probably say go to Emory.

I would pick Emory but I'm biased against Tulane. I was also accepted to both but apparently picked the wrong one.

Like trying to decide between two good restaurants, these schools are both very good. I would rate Tulane and Emory about the same in global health, and give Emory an edge in Epi, though of course, a lot of your success at a particular school depends on the school being a place that you want to be, and if you have a specific interest represented at one school, and not the other, than I would go with the former.
