Can someone give me the pro's and con's of each, which is more selective, which has the best match list, and which one would you pick? Don't factor Florida costing less either because i'm out of state.

If you're out of state...why would apply to miami or florida?

grew up in florida and liked it there, also still have some family there

they both have a strong in-state preference. if you're not a resident, it would seem like a waste of money applying to either.

Tulane
Pros: great study body, attentive faculty, great clinical experience, solid match list, New Orleans

Cons: cost, no substantial research opportunities, New Orleans

nah... miami takes a fair amount from out-of-state--about 35 seats avail according to last yr

u should definitely apply to miami dude 👍

uf on the other hand would probably be a waste of time if you're not a FL-res

I think that your gpa has to be at least a 3.6 for Miami to even look at your application if you're from out-of-state.

what do you think is the average mcat score for out of state applicants to miami?

I believe I read out of staters must have a 30 MCAT to even be considered.
