I am leaning more towards TUNCOM. I am mostly worried about 3rd year rotations as I discovered not all could be hospital based which then I worry would affect my being clinically prepared for residency. I know ATSU-SOMA changes were seen negatively, and their recent board scores have been lower than the national which is probably due to sudden curriculum change to PBL. Although there rotations are with community health centers so I would probably see everything (still may depend on location though). In the end my goals are to be prepared as much as possible for residency AND have the support to get into the residency I want. Not sure on specialty yet.

Between the two I’d say TUNCOM, especially if you wanna be in CA . You can never be fully prepared for residency. Programs will meet you where you’re at.
