I got in to TUSPM and into NYCPM. I like TUSPM much more. Despite my $6000 scholarship from them, it is still much more expensive than NYCPM. I am originally from NY and thus living in NY is cheaper for me than to live in Philly. I currently have a very good job on the weekends working with developmentally disabled people. I heard that academic level of both schools are equal, but NYCPM is not the most comfortable place to be. Is it worth spending almost 50% more the amount of money for the same education just to be more conformable?
I heard that many students drop out of NYCPM. I do not know about Temple, but I heard from my cousin who is currently in the Pharmacy School at Temple that if you fail one class you are dismissed from the School. They will not let you take it over again or repeat the year. Does anyone know if this is true for the podiatry school as well?
Please advise me, as you see, I am very confused.
