Hey guys, i just sent in my deposit in for temple today. Supposedly the pod housing complex is full. Does anybody know of any other housing that might be on the main campus that has a bus or metro line to the building. I read a really bad review about triangle apartments online so im not sure what to think about that place. Or if anybody is staying off campus that knows about inexpensive places or knows anyone looking for a roommate i would appreciate. thanks again

My good friend is starting the physical therapy grad program at temple this fall and she already has a town house and is looking for a roommate. I am not sure how much the rent is exactly but she said it is not too bad. Since temple is in a bad area, her place is a little farther away, but i think it is only ten minutes or something. If you are interested and want to contact her, pm me.

I would recommend you to look for housing in center city or chinatown since that is where TUSPM is located. This way you can walk or bike to TUSPM instead of taking the subway. TUSPM is NOT located on main campus or health science campus. Both the main campus and health science campus are located in North Philadelphia, which is not so nice (depending on where you are from originally, for me, main campus isn't that bad but I am from NYC originally). If you can find them, there are pretty decent priced apartments in Chinatown. There is a shuttle bus that connects the health science campus, main campus, and TUSPM. You might also want to check craigslist or one of the Philly newspaper for some apartments in center city or chinatown. Welcome to TUSPM family.

hey,
i'm in the process of lookin' for offcampus housing in philly.
if your looking for a roomy, checked out our class website on facebook: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=5327508674 . there's a few people on there looking for roommates.
As for where to live in philly, i've heard mixed reviews on all the neighborhoods around philly. center city is the only area where everyone agrees it's great to live. unfortunately, it's ridiculously expensive. i'm goin' up to philly (from miami) in the begining of August to check out the areas for myself. hopefully, i'll find something inhabitable by orientation...or i'll just live on a bench and pocket the rent money.
good luck and see you soon
