Philly wasn't for you? What school did you decide on? I can understand Philly not being for everybody, it was an interesting city. Sorry to get off topic.
Yes, the group interview was rather informal and felt like a product was being demonstrated and sold too. I liked David Martin, he was fun, but I can see where one might feel a little bit uncomfortable with that style.
I think all the schools have their ups and downs. TUSPM's up is the clinic and that is why I made that choice, I liked the clinic and I liked being connected with the Temple University system. The chance to see their trauma ward seems like a great opportunity to me. Also, the number of patient cases in the clinic was a seller. I do not like the price. It is overpriced and my loans will be higher as a result. In the end, i hope I made the right choice, but time will tell.
New York is a little bit cheaper of a school and it is in New York. But I just enjoyed Philly as a city better and I liked the school. Hope you have the best of luck and if you are worried about getting in, then you will get in for sure. The type of person that is concerned usually does what it takes to present themselves well.
Hope I see you at the school, and if not, best of luck
