On page 18 of tyjacob notes on gen chem, at the bottom it says "If ΔH > 0, the reaction is exothermic and if ΔH < 0, the reaction is endothermic." Shouldn't it be the other way around?

On page 19 under the example 2, it again says "since this is positive ΔH > 0, the reaction is exothermic."

On the same page under the "Factors that affect entropy", it says "Increasing temperature increases entropy. ΔS is greater at lower temperatures than at higher ones". If increasing temp. increases entropy, why will ΔS be greater at a lower temperatures?

yeah those are typos thanks for pointing them out i'll fix them

as to why delta S is greater at lower T than high T, i took a screenshot out of the textbook Chemistry for the Biosciences: The Essential Concepts
By Jonathan Crowe, Tony Bradshaw. Its a great explanation

Hey brother,

Once again, thank you for providing these notes. Since you have fixed those areas, is there a place where we can download the updated versions? I'm a little OCD lol

Notes will be available at the same link. Sometimes it takes a day or two for the servers to clear old caches of the documents, and the new versions should be downloadable in a day or so.
