Hi:

I applied to the 2 year program at UF... I claimed to be a resident of FL and my husband's dependent.
I received a letter today asking for my husband's "legal documents as well as a written statement of his activities and locations in Florida since establishing residency"... (he has lived in FL for about 15 years).
Anyone in the same situation? Any help from previous applicants is appreciated....

Try taxes, drivers license any properties that would proof that he is a resident in florida. By the way areyou aware that gainesville only gives you a certificate and not a degree

I dont get why their are asking you for your husband's statement if actually you are the applicant ,are u a resident of florida?that's what counts.I have never heard abaut that situation and I got many friends in florida that have applied to the same program.I applied this year too.but I am living in new jersey.so if they are asking for the documentation just send them id showing his legal status in florida driver license ,green card or passport and any tax forms because they are asking for activities .that's what I think.
