I got an interview invitation last Friday and when I called they said the earliest date available is Oct 19th Tuesday. are there anybody else going to UPENN interview on Oct 19th. Please PM me. Does anybody want to share accommodation? In the letter they said they are doing interviews on Tuesdays from Early September to December. There are like 6-7 Tuesdays which have been booked before October 19th & I only saw one person in Student doctor network got the interview. Any people who had interviews in previous years, please share your experience. It will be very helpful for us.
Does anyone know how many people are interviewed on one Tuesday?

thanks canine 149...I have sent my docs to upenn and caapid application stat shows that my docs have been mailed...bt caapid has not yet received my ece report...also i didnt attach the transcript matching form to the ece..so wat should i do now?..does it mean that my app will not be considered by upenn??

Thanks sandard..how do international students do internship in us, as u mentioned it..i have seen threads of interview call from upenn with part1 and part2 only..does they consider part1 candidates also...i have 84/96/3.18/pg/research/publications/presentations/8 yrs. exp./observership, but no part 2 ...do i stand any chance..

I have an EAD so I can do a internship.
Yes, you stand a good chance of getting an interview call.

I got my appln complete mail a week earlier. My stats are: 85/113/3.91/ 4(mph-gpa).
Currently working as a dental assitant.. DId observership earlier. What are my chances of bagging an interview? Pls do share your views.

Good luck to all of you who are interested in pursuing their education at UPENN. My name is Saurabh and currently, a PASS student at UPENN, class of 2011.

A year ago, I had a lot of trouble finding a room for 3 months during pre-enrollment program (because of leasing issues). It is too difficult to get a room from March to June. However, things get easier August onwards.

As I will be fulfilling my requirements in March, my well furnished apartment will be totally vacant and available for any one of you who wish to stay here (first come first serve). During your visit for the interview, you are most welcome to come see the apartment. I wish somebody had offered me this option and it had saved a lot of hassle and time

I just received an interview invitation through the mail, and will be calling them shortly to schedule an interview. Hope I get something early!

I doubt it. I got 91 in NBDE 1 and I got a letter from UPenn in early June stating my application is complete and I didnt get any IV call.
 
I applied to upenn too. i just got an application completion mail, but didnt hear anything till now. i wish i hear from them soon, here are my stats:
86/76, 93, 3.54
research volunteer experience from 6 months, observer almost a year now.

my stats are ndbe part1 83 / 110 toefl/ and 3.06 Gpa two internships in the States and worked as a dental assistant for 6 months
 
Congrats ImmaculateDent....i've applied too with 84/108/3.19 and 1 year experience as a certified dental assistant...i'm hoping for the one call we all wait for..

6 months of it is US experience.

Your scores are great and you have strong background. If you prepared your application very carefully I don't think see any reason UPenn won't interview you.

I don't know anything about that. I'm applying to upenn for the first time this year
 
Any news anyone? Did anyone hear from upenn regarding their application?
 
Did anybody get application completion mail who applied near deadline? I applied in the end week of Aug and didn't get any mail/ email from them yet.
 
yes i sent the application in the mid of august and got the mail of completion.
You can call them and they will tell you

I was expecting an iv from Upenn...hvnt heard from them yet.
my stats are 89/75/3.51/99 plus I hv 8 mnths of US research experience and one year of observorship exp.
Wht do u think?

I sent them an email yesterday asking if they're done with invitations.. They told me that my application is still under review and that i will receive a mail if they decide to offer me an invitation... i suppose it means they r not done yet..just relax guys, God will always bring us whats best for us
 
i am waiting for them to call,,i got application complete mail a week back..haven't heard anything from them as yet...all you guys who are waiting like me...just hang on there..hopefully they will send out invites soon
