I have an interview at the University of Rochester on 9/08 however, I have received nothing that tells me exactly what room/area to show up to on the morning of the interview. Their website has all general area/hotel/medical campus info but no direct instructions on where to meet. Anyone else have this problem or know the answer?

If you look at the little map of the hospital they give you, there is a label that says "School of Medicine" and that is basically where you are going. Ask a cab/shuttle to take you to the school of medicine (my shuttle took me right there) or if your driving mapquest it and find parking. Once your at the front door, you proceed inside the first level, pass a coffee shop on the right, and the admissions office is on the left. You just go in there and check in. You probably see other people waiting on the couches. As soon as I got there, tho, a student asked me if I was there for an interview, and then showed me exactly where to go, everyone was really friendly there.

Regarding Rochester interviews--My "status" page at Rochester changed to Interview Invite, but ummm, I didn't get any email or anything. I just checked it this morning and it had changed, so I don't know if they just haven't sent out emails or if I am supposed to contact them now that it has changed...advice?

You'll receive an email shortly. You schedule the interview through the same portal as the status page.

Thanks Captn---got the email and now the interview choice thing is showing on the applicant portal. Sucks that we have to write two extra essays though!! (gross)
