Hello all,

I was wondering whether or not you all felt it was worthwhile to purchase the UWorld Self Assessments in addition to the regular qbank. It looks like it'd be an extra $50, which isn't much, but I wasn't sure whether people usually had time to do them and whether or not the questions were actually unique.

Also, for anyone who got the class discount, how much did they offer you? We were offered about 10%, which seems really low for something like that. I wonder if anyone has managed to negotiate higher. Anyone know?

UWSAs are great in my opinion. For the most part UWSA2 grossly over predicts your score unless you are >250 because then you are just crushing everything that moves. UWSA1 overshoots as well but to a less extent. Each exam is comprised of unique questions separate from the main Qbank with the great UW explanations. I'd say they are 100% worth it just for the extra 368 UW questions.

Not so sure about the class discount we did that like back in December. I think I saved 30 bucks with the 6month subscription and the two UWSAs.

Yes, they are worth it. Besides you can activate your self assessments whenever you want. Its made up of Uworld specially selected questions, and gives a pretty good analysis of your test, and good explanations of the answers.

Personally I dont know if they overshoot, i havent taken step1 yet
