Hi everyone! So long story short I'm a Public Health/Psych major at UC Berkeley. I ended up taking Math 16A/16B instead of the 1 series or 10 series mostly because I was Pre-Haas for two seconds. According to the career center and whatever that should be accepted by med schools but our pre-med advising is pretty meh. I heard from someone that med schools don't accept the Math 16 series? Does anyone know if it's true/know someone who took the Math 16 series and got into med school? And if it isn't, what should I do? I'm not sure I want to take the Calc 1 and 2 again because I did get a 5 on BC Calc and an A+ in both Math 16A and 16B, and even though the 1 series or 10 series would be harder than both, that seems pretty silly.

I suppose an option would be to take Math 53 (multivariable) but I'd really love to avoid it if I can because I don't think I can compete with engineering majors in a math class LOL

Take an intro stats class. That together with your AP Calc will meet the math reqs for pretty much everywhere. I think UCLA is the only med school that I recall saying no AP credit allowed for math, everywhere else will be fine.
