Is Bio 1B on the MCAT?

The description is: plant development, form, and function; population genetics, ecology, and evolution.

I'm still scheduling out my plan for when to take the MCAT, I don't have any premed friends, and I can't get a concrete answer from the few resources that say anything about it.

From what I've seen, there is a tiny bit, but I've yet to find anything on plants except talking about their tissues and stuff.

Bio II at my college includes all the stuff you mentioned plus animals or whatever. I know the population genetics (hardy -weinberg and stuff) and evolution is on the mcat. I'm not sure about the ecology aspect but i guess it might be. We spent most of the time on the ecology, population genetics and evolution, brushed on the organisms (bacteria, virus, funi plants and animals) and moved right on to development. i guess it's worth taking the class

alright...but the way my schedule is working out is that I'll take the MCAT and then bio 1b

I guess MCAT prep classes will tell me if I'm missing anything..

yeah you're probably not missing anything noteworthy. any gaps can be filled with review books.
