I read its about 500 apps? Also dont they count when you submitted the app or is it when everything is recieved[/QUOTE

500 applications for 50 spots is a 1 in 10 chance that there is to take. Prob a bit of both but submitting the application is the hardest to do where sending documents is easy, most people I think commit all the way

Yeah, there's some people who submit and don't have a full application. There are many variables.

And the application is reviewed by ADCOM once all documents have been scanned/received.

Good luck to all. I've been checking this thread almost daily. I'll do my job to update, and I hope others will too, so we can all have a clearer understanding of what to expect in the following days/weeks/months.

Same here I'll probably be calling next week if I don't see any to the status of the materials.

Is anyone's application complete? I am concerned of how long they are taking to upload documents because I don't know if all my documents were successfully sent or if I need to resend my transcripts or LORs.

I'm having no luck at all. I'm beginning to worry that either my documents are stacked pile high or were lost when mailed. So far I can't get a hold of them. It's been 20+ days since the guaranteed mail delivery date. Any luck from anyone? I'm trying to avoid paying $40 for express shipping and have them uploaded mid march

I'm still waiting for my stuff to be uploaded. I've been calling the central office, but no one is picking up. I also sent an email last week hoping for a response, but I didn't get any.

Do documents get uploaded on a first come basis? Wonder if sending them overnight helps get them processed faster. I'm stilling pending too

From my experience I never get a reply by email. Perhaps calling them early morning is best Hopefully they get extra help. Don't want to miss UCI priority deadline.

None of my documents have been uploaded either 🙁 They should have been recieved a long time ago though. I also sent them an email with a request to change one of my Reccomenders and they never replied I'm beggining to wonder if theyre even looking at any of these materials yet?

Hello all -- I work for the consortium and want you all to know that we are working on processing all of the documents. We have piles of mail so your stuff is probably here, but keep in mind there are 1-2 people uploading and scanning documents for over 600 applicants. It will take time. Do not resend or pay for expedited shipping if you have already sent in your stuff, they have it. If you don't see your materials uploaded by March 10th, then call or email the consortium. Thanks! I will do my best to check this thread frequently and answer your questions.

I believe documents do get uploaded on a first come, first served basis. My application is marked complete, but I submitted all my documents in January.

Hopefully they get around to uploading everyone else's stuff soon!

Hi mdcoffee! Thanks for this message.
Do you know how, if at all, this will affect those that have submitted their application and materials prior to the priority deadline of March 1st for UCI and have applied there? From what I understand, applications are only complete and sent out to the school if the supporting documents have been uploaded as well.

That is an excellent question, we are doing our best and are hoping to have all the documents we received be uploaded by March 1st to meet that deadline. I will have another update soon.

Thank you, and thanks for all of your efforts. We all really appreciate it!

Hi Everyone! Stopping by to say that my status is also "pending" even though all of my materials were sent in during the second week of January. I was starting to freak out but it's nice to know that I'm not the only one. Also, anyone else applying to UCLA? They sent us an email asking for info and said they would confirm when they got it but I haven't received anything. Has anyone received an email from them?

I'm waiting for my application to be completed too. I sent my letter in December but it didn't get there so I resent it 🙁 now I'm hoping it got there the second time around.

mdcoffee, do you have an estimate of when schools will start sending out interview invites? 🙂

I was in the postbacc program myself, and when I applied I started hearing back in mid-May! Some schools do take up until June-July as well!

Hi! Does anyone know how to use Interfolio?
I'm having trouble figuring out how to send it to the program once the letters are uploaded! Any help would be much appreciated! Thank you!

Once you sign in Interfolio, click on "Manage Dossier", on the new page select the blank boxes for all 3 of your Letter of Rec. Then select "new application" located on the upper right hand corner. On the new page select the Mail option and click "create", do not use the university search bar. From here fill in the delivery sections with the Mailing Address provided on the UC Postbacc Consortium website:

UC Postbaccalaureate Consortium
UC Davis School of Medicine
4610 X Street, Suite 3104
Sacramento, CA 95817

Last step is to choose your delivery method, remember it will take a few days to get delivered depending on the option and 10 days to be uploaded when received (could be more as they are backed up now). Make sure your recommendors have uploaded both the Letter of Rec and the Statement of Confidentiality (found on the Consortium main website under "application instructions", before you send it through Interfolio. There's no way to see the contents your recommendors uploaded unless the LR is uploaded as "not confidential" but I recommend having it as confidential since it carries more weight. Don't forget to also send your official transcripts, and AMCAS app if it applies to you.

I know that this is a bit late for inquiring about this - but I haven't been able to reach the central office about it. So, I had happened to mail my LORs using my university's career center transcript service, only realizing later that each letter needed to have a statement of confidentiality along with them (I know...I'm an idiot). Would it still work if I signed 3 statement of confidentiality papers and personally mail them to the central office? None of my recommenders had reviewed their letters with me. Also, my university's transcript service would regardless have made it difficult for each recommender to upload the confidentiality statement as the system only allows one document to be uploaded. I'd appreciate if anyone can comment on my situation!

Id say your best bet is to honestly call you still have time to send in your LORs anyway so just have the reccomenders resend some LORs with the statsment

That's awesome, good luck Jessicawhisker!
My application is still pending. Do you mind sharing when you submitted and when your application was marked complete?

Should I be worried that my stuff didn't get there? I sent everything in in January so it's been over a month. I would hate to have to re-send everything so late and have to wait even more for it to be uploaded. Is there any way we can get confirmation that our stuff was at least received?

On 2/15 I dropped my last LOR in the mail, and by 2/22 I got an email that my application was marked complete. Everything else was sent in before (on 2/14 I got an email for my incomplete app). On 2/24 I got an email about an interview!

Thats awesome good luck! keep us posted!

Honestly I have no idea. I'm surprised myself because one of my letter of recs got sent in like 2 months before I even got my application sent in...? I was sure it was going to get lost but they seem decent with keeping tract of all our documents!
Ah ok! In any case congrats!

Hi everyone. I have a question regarding the statement of confidentiality. Does anyone know if it's necessary if you're using the confidentiality service through interfolio? I had compiled 2 of my LORs last year for future use in post-bacc applications and obviously it's a little late to send those letter writers the statements after they have already written the letters.

Its hard to say, this is a question you need answered directly by the Consortium since they verify and process all paperwork. Give them a call asap since the deadline is coming up in about 15 days.

Hey, so if this is any consolation...my situation is more or less similar to yours (see my post above!) and I emailed Elio, the UC Consortium coordinator, about my situation. His response was simply, "Please send the signed statements of confidentiality." So, I'm guessing it's okay to just mail the signed confidentiality papers? lol. You can try emailing him too about it, he's pretty responsive! Also, note that the letter writers do not sign the confidentiality statements, but we do.

Application pending here too and submitted my supporting documents in January... ._.

Getting kind of antsy here with the UCI priority deadline less than 48 hours away...

I too still have nothing uploaded, should we start calling?

I'm in the same boat as y'all. I'm getting antsy as well. I submitted all my documents in early January. I'm missing one more transcript. I want to make the UCI deadline too, as I submitted my application on 01/21, but it's out of our hands. Got to trust the process. They are short-staffed.

Im still missing everything and sent in everything since january :/

Haha, I'm in the same situation as LOD Doc and I've been calling for the last week with no luck. Only ringing and the voicemail is full, so you can't leave a message. I also emailed a week ago to ask about the status of my app with no response.

I called the UC Davis Post Bacc office because I could not get a hold of a person at the consortium vis phone or email and they stated that there is only one or two people working on scanning our documents in... They told me to be patient.

Also for a clarification for the interfolio LOR, if you marked your LOR on interfolio as Confidential when asking for LOR you do not need to send in a Statement of Confidentiality form. I just received and email from Elio, who works that the UCDavis post bacc office.
"Usually Interfolio send it’s own version of a confidentiality folder. This is enough. No need to send another."
This was his direct words from the email he sent me.

Yeah. Thanks to y'all for sharing all your current/updated status. Puts me in some ease, knowing we're all in the same boat.

I'm located in San Jose, if anyone ever wants to PM me, meet up and patiently commiserate together over coffee/boba. Haha

Just an update!!

My transcript and 1/3 LoR's have been marked as received! Hopefully they have started going through the mid-January documents!

Thanks for the update! Did you receive an e-mail or did you just happen to check the portal?

Thanks for putting everyone to ease, hopefully I didn't give anyone a mini heart attack with my previous feedback.

Also, my documents were expected to have been received by no later than Feb. 3 and I'm still pending. Let's keep our fingers crossed

There doesn't seem to be any email notification. I just went on to the portal to check my application status, and BOOM! One step closer to (hopefully) interviews!

Great news guys! I just recieved a call from the consortium. (There was an issue with one of my letters) and I asked about the UCI priority date they said they will be letting UcI know they are behind so we should all be pretty much ok.

Nice! Hopefully we will be receiving a notice as to how long of a grace period we will be getting for the priority date

Just wondering, does anyone know what the acceptance rates are for the programs?

I believe they get about 500-600 apps each years with roughly 60 Spots for all programs so about 10%?

My materials were uploaded as well! There's basically only one person uploading them so I definitely feel for them....especially knowing how neurotic/stressed all of us are about this haha

Got in touch with someone yesterday and they're going through the documents received mid-January now.

My documents are still not uploaded... I have tried calling 916-734-1886 and emailing them... Is there anyone else I can contact for the consortium?

I sent my documents early Feb (2/3)., so I guess they are not there yet uploading stuff from Feb.

I had a letter and transcript sent since Jan 20 and they still havent got through it Im imagining that they just have a random pile and are uploading as they go not by date recieved.
