I'm a waitlister too, and good luck minikitte and Coonie!I want to study at Davis so badly, I was doing really well by channeling my anxiety into studying but now that the week of the 15th is upon us that same old anticipation feeling is creeping back. I went on a tour of Davis last weekend (just like the interviewee workshop) and was reminded of how awesome it is to be a student there, and was also visualizing myself there. Thoughts into reality, right?
Also, do any former waitlisters know how the alternate process works? Will Davis call if a spot for you opens, or will it be by email? How soon will they start notifying if spots become available? Would it be appropriate for me to call and ask about the waitlist on Friday? Thank you. 🙂
But damn, if #3 just got in (YAY, Minikitte) then it's only 3 more to #6, it's really quite close. Ugh, Thursday didn't seem so far away until now! Think good thoughts, think good thoughts...it's about time for some good luck to come my way, now that I think about it. 😉

I'm a little confused though, if they overbooked by 11 and haven't heard from 8 yet that means they've at least had 6 people decline their spot (to get to Minikitte, who was #3). Is this at all logical?
Now I'm on pins and needles, #6 is just such a "maybe, maybe not" position. I hope the fact that I didn't get a call today doesn't mean anything, though.
At least I can distract myself with the thought of Picnic day, I'm going to try and see the dog breed showcase and Doxie derby for sure, and hopefully see the VERT demo. And the obligatory trip to YoBerry and In-n-Out. 😀

Do you think I should, or should I wait and call in the morning? I really want to fill it out but am not sure if I should, I mean what if it's a mistake or they need more info or I need to wait until I get a call or an email? What if it doesn't mean anything? 😱 I wonder if Minikitte can log in? I'll probably wait and call in the morning as I would hope nothing would change between now and tomorrow morning.

Nah, I knew I shouldn't do anything as I haven't heard anything from admissions, so I promptly logged out. I called today and spoke with Ms. O' Bryan (super nice, she even encouraged me to call tomorrow, they really understand what we're all going through). I'm now #2, and they have yet to hear from 7 people as of this afternoon. So while 6 or all 7 could still accept their spots, I'm hoping that at least 2 will be saying no. I wonder if the people who are waiting until this late in the game are waiting on other offers or just on the fence, but in any case I'm thinking positive and willing 2 people to take other offers.😍Davis😍Davis😍

I submitted my accept/decline form and got the confirmation email and page, but when I go back I can still log in and see it as if I never submitted it. Odd, can anyone else do that?
