Congratulations Member01234. I am interested in applying to UC Davis' MPH program this Fall. From what I have learned (and you may already know), the MPH program is not administered through a School of Public Health, which means that there may be less synergies and opportunities for sharing ideas, research, discourse, etc. (as opposed to being at a School of Public Health that has potentially many more Health programs of study and faculty members, etc.). I understand that one of the main strengths of the UCD MPH program is their working relationship with the CA Department of Public Health (CDPH), which provides students with "field-work" opportunities.
I would be interested to hear from others who have applied, and/or who have been accepted, what their application process has been like, and what they have heard. Also, for folks who have graduated from the MPH program, how has it helped you in your career?
