Hi Everyone especially california premeds!

I've heard many things about the UC Post Bac programs and those who get in ...
Does anyone get in with under a 3.0?

If money isn't an issue.. do it.
Otherwise, you'd be better off retaking the courses you got Bs and Cs in at a CC.

Not sure what average GPAs are, but these programs cater to URMs mostly

I want to apply but i also want to know if I stand a chance lol. thanks for the forums I found some stats. The UC program asks about personal experiences being educationally or economically disadvantaged....

I was thinking about doing a diy post bac as a back up

I agree. Isn't a post bacc just going to dilute your GPA? Wouldn't it make more sense just to retake the classes you did poorly in?
