Cali is broke, the Federal Gov't is operating on a significant deficit (this isn't new, I guess). My question is, should that make me lean away from the UC schools for my upcoming rank list. My other options are some very good private locations, that shouldn't suffer as much if the budgets get cut.

This is probably just pre-match jitters, but I don't want to get through CA-2 and find that I'm losing cases because the UC-affiliated medical center is cutting operations down to save money.
