i interviewed 3/20. they told us acceptance decisions would be made today and that waitlists/rejections would be made at a later date. hopefully some of us will get one of those phone calls in the next couple of days!!! 🙂

I was also interviewed on 2/27 and my status page has said on hold for about a week or so. However, I don't think that this means that we're on the alternate list. I think they will create the list by the end of this month. So, theoretically, we can get accepted sometime during this month.

Ya....the last post is basically my identical situation...I was placed on hold on Friday, April 4. I guess we all will have to wait a while for something interesting to happen. Two weeks for a response is super quick though.
My understanding was that approx 2-3 weeks following the interview (3/20), calls would be made to those who were accepted. Those not accepted at that time would be placed "on hold" on their status page.
Could it be that calls have not yet been made, and that everyone has been placed on hold at this time? Naturally, I hope that is the case! I figured that I was on hold, and that I will not be getting one of the early calls for invitation. This is in line with what they told us.
Has anybody heard of anyone getting calls yet?? If so, it would clearly prove which theory of mine is correct.

it could be... i'm not sure if anyone has gotten a call yet. i actually phoned them and asked about my on hold status (b/c it happened on the morning of the day we were supposed to be reviewed & i was surprised the status changed like that b/c it seemed unlikely that they had reviewed it). well, it turns out my file hadn't been reviewed at the time that it first said on hold, so i think they did change everyone's status.
unfortunately i don't know if the people who were accepted were called yet and had their status change to decision letter sent.
A couple of weeks ago my status page changed to "hold" (next to the 'alternate' row). I just spoke to Gayle Pierce in the admissions office recently and was told that my file had been reviewed and that I had been placed in the 'hold' category, which isn't officially a waitlist yet. Soon after May 15th they'll make the actual waitlist, at which point everyone who has been placed on hold will either be put on the waitlist or rejected. 🙁
I thought that I still had a shot at an acceptance, but it now looks like the best I can hope for is a waitlist. How depressing.

I'm guessing that you're in the same situation as me. Oh well, hopefully we'll get on the waitlist, which will eventually turn into an acceptance, right? I hate the idea of sitting around all summer hoping to get off of a waitlist, but that looks like the situation that I'll be in. Are you in anywhere yet?

argh, i want to hear of just one person on here getting something other than "on hold." it seems like everyone that has interviewed since january has gotten "on hold." Is it an SDN curse??? Well good luck everyone, I'm sitting "on hold" too, which is depressing since this was my number one choice.
