So I just got the financial aid award letter from ucla the estimated cost of attendance is $40,000. Tuition, fees and health insurance are $18,672, living expenses are $19,425, and the rest is books.... 🙁

Is anyone else still waiting on Berkeley for Epi?

They were the first school I turned in and now they are the last school to respond! I just double checked the email and they said they would get back to everyone by APRIL 15!! Woah!! That is cutting it close!!

I'm pretty sure it is a bad sign if I haven't heard from them yet, but I wanted to hear back from them before I make my decisions.
Maybe I will call on Monday ??

Yes, I am still waiting to hear.. I called recently to ask about my status, and the woman on the phone just told me that if I haven't heard, my app is still under review. She said I would most likely hear by the end of the month, "although technically we have until April 15th to let you know".

that is so inexpensive. Most schools cost $60000 and above, and aren't in places like LA.

Yeah, I got the waitlisted email from UCLA.
I got rejected from Berkeley 🙁
There goes my dream of doing my MPH in california !! Oh well...

That is a lot of money! Are you a resident too? You can't TA or something? WTF, $40k/year????

Has anybody heard from Berkeley lately (for MPH in epi/biostats)? They're the last school I'm waiting on, and I'm getting antsier by the day. I tried calling them last month, but they said I was still under review...

anyone still waiting to hear from UCLA?? i called them last friday and they said my application is still under review, and they would send out all of their decisions by the 15th.. but i haven't gotten anything yet!! well at this stage i kinda gave up already.. sadnesss

Did you get the email saying that you were waitlisted, or no? I got that email 2 weeks ago and don't anticipate anything until the end of April.

No.. I didn't receive anything from UCLA other than the email of acknowledging they got my application.. seems like they "forgot" about me.. T.T
