Ok, I'm kinda new to this site, but I'm in a HUGE dilemma.

I want to go into pre-medicine (obviously) and don't know which school-- UCLA or Berkeley is better for pre-med.

Also, is it harder to maintain a good GPA at Berkeley or UCLA?!!?🙄😀

annnnnd I know it's been asked.. but PLEASEEEEEEEEe help me 😀😀😀:hardy:

There are very few people who have attended both UCLA and berk, so there is little basis for comparison. But, I can tell you that berkeley is hard and competitive. Especially the lower-div premed courses. The curve is also harsh. Depending on what kind of person you are, it could be hard to maintain a high gpa, though not impossible. Check out the UCB vs. UCLA thread.

this person is OBVIOUSLY trolling

with that in mind, i will still say that Berkeley > UCLA 😀😀

Thanks! Oh and quick question... how many applicants does UCLA or UCSF accept for there medical school? I read somewhere that medical schools can accept only 4-5. What?!

UCLA ftw...Cal seems kinda dull...and HARD. LA is really chill and TONS of poeple make it to med school from here.

id venture to say that the REALISTICALLY Cal and UCLA send the same percentage of their applicants to med school. Again not going by the bogus information on the Cal website, but realistically.

therefore, go where you'll be happy (most likely UCLA)
