Well, you guys are getting active. Perhaps, one day we'll have a UCLA SDN gathering in Westwood or something.

They didn't check the comp this year, and there's no reason why they would check for your year, so keep that in mind as you decide to dish out money for laptop. Mine is a refurbished fujitsu for 800 and it lasts me perfectly fine. I bring it to school EVERYDAY, but that's me, and I run everything on it. I'm going paperless, but some diagrams is much more idea drawn out with arrows then trying to indicate it on a word.

I just completed and mailed out all of the financial aid forms and the other forms we got from that packet. We have to drop 12 g's during orientation?!?! god damn thats an expensive dental kit!

Question... What the hell is a White Coat Ceremony?

And, are we gonna get our financial aid money by orientation? Or do we gotta drop 12g's on the equipment out of pocket? I currently pay 1675 a semester for tuition- now 12000 for some tools!!!!

Nice on the housing, feels good huh? If EVERYONE is joining asda, i guess i will then too. 65 bucks seems actually like I am getting paid compared to the 12k for the equipment.

But some of the computer stuff seems silly-4 year warranty? what if i only get two year? Why does it gotta be a 15 inch screen. I am going to get a 12 inch screen and only a 2 year warranty just to be a rebel.

Nobody can mouse-click a site that many times. It takes a minute to launch a browser, type the site's address, choose UCLA,...10129 minutes = approx. 169 hours = approx. 7 days nonstop
#2)
Click on UCLA, check the count number. The number of hits increases. click on UCLA again, check the count number again. This time the # of hits stays the same. It looks like PDIZZLE doesn't let one person make UCLA the most popular. 🙂

DATstudent- biggest advantage of weyburn is its location. It is right in the heart of westwood villlage which means walking distance to campus and no fighting traffic and parking every day.

Why do they want your parents in attendance at the white coat ceremony? I would rather have them come and help me move in (buy furniture, stock fridge, etc.) rather than be in attendance when i get a damn white lab coat.

Congrats for the acceptance! I submitted my application in February. I looked at the apartments yesterday. They look nice. I have some pictures from inside one of the two-bedroom apartments. I can email the pictures to anyone who is interested. 🙂

They don't want your parents in attendance at the white coat ceremony - it's not something for them to care about. They are merely presenting an *opportunity* for your parents to be in attendance at the white coat ceremony - if you so choose to invite them.

There's no exact date. It is pretty much different for everyone, so the best way for you to find out is to contact the weyburn housing office and they will let you know.

What are the benefits of joining the ASDA? I'm so broke right now (just got an apartment in Westwood) and am wondering if membership is worth $65??

it depends on how involved you want to be. $65 a year is nothing compared to our other expenses. i think its a good way to make connections.
