I'm not set on anything yet. I am open to all specialities and the possibility of going into academic medicine. So in that sense, I would want to choose the school that allows me to pursue any of those possibilities if that makes sense.
Do you by any chance know if both schools are relatively similar in the resources they provide for their students? If they're equal in that regard, then I would want to choose based on where I want to live for the next 4 years.
Congrats! Have you lived outside of California before? If not, I would recommend it! Many of the Californians I went to school with had a very California-centric worldview, and I think it's very healthy to get a few years away from that.
