I am an out-of-state student and that day there were many many out of state candidates. Are you one of them as well? good luck!!!!

Well, if their previous mailings is of any indication, it seems they mail out letters Wednesday .... soooo, with any luck, people will start hearing back today! Alas, the east coast people have to wait until monday probably....

I have school/research/work throughout the day. I don't get to stalk the mailman, but by checking up on sdn, I get a sense of rather or not I should expect a letter from UCSF. From everyone's post, I don't expect any mail today.

I have a very good feeling that many of the CA people will hear something good back from UCSF. It is Friday and if they sent out their letter on wednesday, it take 1-2 days for it to arrive.

Accepted!!!! My husband just called and told me... and I totally cried at work. 😀 I am so excited, I can't wait!

Sacramento, CA- So I'd assume Bay Area will get letters today too? I didn't ask my husband when it was postmarked.

I haven't heard anything either. But given the sharp decrease in the number of posts there have been here I'm beginning to wonder if once people get accepted they just don't post as much, which is why we don't hear about it. Two more weeks I guess until the deadline for me to find out.

i interviewed 2/12 in the noon group. also my letter was dated 3/9 but for some reason just got it today... guesss it was lost in the mail since i had my mail forwarded!

Congratulations! The same thing happened to me last week. My hands were shaking and I looked at the acceptance letter again and again even for the next few days to make sure I was not dreaming....🙂

We've just finished finals for the winter quarter, so most of us are now back stalking you guys on here.

Honestly, I can't believe it's been a year already since I was in your shoes--and what a LONG year it's been.

And please, join the facebook group! There's more of us UCSF students than actual admits, and we all want to get to know you better (and let you know what you're all getting yourselves into...🙂

Got the rejection letter today. Interviewed on 2/19, letter postmarked 3/18. It's ok though, I got accepted to a So-Cal school, and I prefer to stay here anyway. It was fun meeting the faculty, anyway good luck with all ya'll. Hope the first two words you read in your letter will not be "I regret".
