For the UCSF candidate's statement, it says to talk about how you are special without going into accomplishments etc. and instead talking about personal characteristics. However I find that I my statement consists of me saying I have a characteristic and then going down a list of things I have done that illustrate this characteristic. Is this okay? Thanks!

I believe it's pretty much the same, EITHER U LIST THE XTERISTICS OR YOU IT IS STATED IN THE SAME LINE
WHAT I WOULD SUGGEST TRY ELABORATING ON EACH XTERISTICS
I HAVE A 4.0 GPA IN ENGLISH AND LITERATURE SO I AM PRETTY SAVVY WHEN IT COMES TO EFFECIENT COMMUNICATION AND WRTING SKILLS
I BELIEVE EFFECTIVE WRITING IS THE ONLY DOORWAY TO AN INTERVIEW
BCOS SINCERELY SPEAKING A LOT OF PEOPLE MEET THE REQUIREMENT SO THE PROCESS OF ELIMINATION WILL BE YOUR WRITING SKILLS 9 OUT OF 10 TIMES IF YOU CANT COMMUNICATE WELL THEN YOU CAN ARTICULATE AND PASS AND INTERVIEW WHICH WILL DETER YOUR CHANCES OF BEING ADMITTED.

OHAN GOODLUCK

I feel I'm running out of stuff to say. There's this pharmCAS essay, followed by a bunch of small prompts from ucsf. Those questions pretty much covered all aspects of my goal, my characteristics, and my life.:scared:

I would focus on the characteristic and why that characteristic is important. What have you gone through that makes you want to show that characteristic? (why is it an important trait?) Rather than focusing on an activity or position or achievement, focus on the significance of this "characteristic". Hope that helps! Good Luck!

the deadline is approaching!!

good luck everyone! 🙂
