Hey guys!

I was just wondering if any of you knew what topics are covered in this part of the interview. Is it just like restate your essay? or do they ask you trick questions?

Trick Questions!

Don't sweat it. It's not something you need to prepare for, unless you can't string a sentence together. In my opinion.

Dude, it's easy. They usually just ask a random question. I think mine was about a problem I encountered and how I overcame it.

The writing sample is not related to your personal statement. Its a time slot where you have 20 minutes or so to respond in writing to a given prompt. They want to you write approximately one page, so show you can rite english good.

Sounds very similar to the SAT new writing section. geez why dont they just ask for that SAT portion score? (considering i aced it 😛)

because most of us applying didn't have the SAT writing portion 😛

also, for the UCLA interview I had today, the writing sample actually had a purpose. UCSFs was just random.

Thanks for the help/comments! I have my interview tomorrow...hopefully all should go well
