did they say about the 25 seats that were undecided due to peeps indecisiveness?

they did make some acceptances fairly recently so the number is actually higher than 52
 
yea that number could rise since i'm sure not everybody who got accepted around jan 14th deposited yet. i believe they handed out 88 acceptances from dec 1st to jan 14th, but some ppl do decline the offer..

this is complicated, as of 26th 52 confirmed seats. early feb, adcom will meet and finalize roster. who knows when they sent out last batch.
 
Did they mention at the interview today when the next round of acceptances will be? Someone mentioned after the 1/12 interview that they wouldn't accept until early February, but a few were accepted last week. Thanks. 👍
 
its really anyones guess on what's going to happen, but at least by feb. we will know where we stand.

waitlist will be around 50, from what i can remember
 
yes it is 30 days. so adcoms won't know for sure until mid february. but for those giving up their spots, i'm sure adcom will meet and hand out those acceptances early feb.
yup, they told us every should know their status by early feb which includes accepted/waitlisted/rejected. they do rank waitlist & they will tell you your number.
 
Just confirmed that there are less than 20 offers outstanding and that 60 something have confirmed. 30th is the last interview date and around 20-30 more people will be interview in the last batch and selected amongst the rest of the people who interview previously. good luck everyone

Me too. But let's hope that some of them have multiple deposits and that they'll choose those other schools over UCSF. Good luck everyone! 👍

Does anyone know how many people have interviewed total? i know that UCSF makes acceptances in smallllll batches because they don't over admit just in case. Who knows that, many of the people who get into ucsf also get into ucla so they can flip flop anytime until class starts.
 
Just called Bob. 19 spots left. Anyone who isn't accepted next Monday or Tuesday will receive a letter later on in the week saying they're waitlisted or rejected. Good luck! :xf:

19 spots for sure? or is that the number including the idle acceptances that went out a few days ago?

You have to sort of assume those 15 people that haven't yet responded will respond within the next few days or else they'll either lagging a lot or not interested anymore.
 
it just seems that this year is one of those years were the class gets filled up fairly quick
 
yea. it looks like 4 spots open for sure if all 15 decide to deposit. it takes a while for the mail to get there and etc. so the school won't know for sure until mid-feb..
 
Brutal waiting period... Time to work on alternate plans

I think they are meeting today to pick the rest of the class and the waitlist.
 
i just called bob and he said they probably won't call today they do have the list and that they will be calling people and changeing addsas status tomorrow

A couple minutes ago. It could be good news though (i.e. they're going to call you tomorrow regarding an acceptance). Keep your hopes up! Mine sure are down as of now though...
 
I just got that e-mail, too. My interview was on the last possible day, the 30th, so I imagine all the waitlist notifications are going out today. I'm number 30 on the wait list. What number are you, bcdds09?

LOL, I'm #31. Jerk! j/k. I'm not sure if I plan to stay on though, I've already been accepted to other schools that would actually be a lot cheaper than SF. I was just so impressed with everything..ugh, don't know what to do at this point.

Are you planning to stay on the list chops?

From what Mr. Betbeze told us at the interview, it really depends. But since we're so far back, my guess is our chances are pretty slim. We just have to pray that everyone decides to go elsewhere. 🙁

Really, #31? Your fate is in my hands, possibly. 😉 I'll stay on the list; I got into one other school so far, but I'd prefer UCSF.

I think people who have other acceptances should get the F off the list and make room for people who don't have aby acceptances. I can't believe there is no regulations on this.
 
i am number 19 on the waitlist... lol..means more waiting! i would have been happier with a rejection...

Really? But if I get this spot, I'm opening up a spot at the other school, possibly letting in someone with no other acceptances. It all evens out in the end. There are a certain number of spots, and they're all getting filled, no matter what I do.

at least you have a back up. i on the other hand are waiting for my 1st
 
I am waitlisted too, No.9, should I feel happy (for not being rejected) or sad (for not YET accepted)? believe or not, this is the only interview invite for me😕
Does anyone know how far they would usually go on the waitlist?

last year 15 from waitlist came off. 9 on waitlist is good. dont be sad. btw irvine is nice
