Hi guys! I was lucky enough to have been extended an offer to UCSF and wanted to create a thread where the upcoming cohort can chat and get to know each other!
I'm going to put down my deposit as they are my best choice right now 🙂

My name is Michael and hailing from Fullerton, CA. Anyone else from Southern California?

Hey Michael!
Also excited to have an offer from UCSF! Sending in my deposit today and going to finish up the rest of the acceptance steps.
I'm originally from San Diego but live in SF now 🙂

Nice to meet you Paige! Yeah I mailed out my deposit check too! Just gotta do all those electronic transcripts now... I have 4 schools lol.
How long have you been living in SF? Do you prefer the bay area or Socal?

Hey Michael! Congrats on your acceptance to UCSF, excited to see what will be in store for us moving forward. I've been in the process of sending in my transcripts and getting the necessary financial aid/health information submitted.

Funny enough I'm actually from Southern California as well - close by near Mission Viejo! Let's connect when you get a chance.

@kblvna Dang it was a tough decision but I chose CSULB over UCSF. As much as I'd love to attend UCSF the price of attending CSULB and staying local is too hard to pass up. I wish you guys all the best, UCSF sounds so amazing. Let's stay connected though!

Totally get it man I had the same predicament. Ultimately we all choose what we believe is best for our own situations! Looking forward to being colleagues in a few short years.
