Hey everyone,

Here's a question from a pre-d student:

I'm having a tough time deciding between UCSF and Indiana for the
Fall. I am trying to find out about each of the schools: the strengths,
weaknesses, etc.

Specifically I would really like to know about the:
-Clinical Experience you get. Whether either one is stronger.
Are there enough patients to practice on?
The strength of the teaching faculty.
Atmosphere (Friendly, professional)
Pass Fail vs. ABCD vs. number grades.
-Cost
How much financial aid can you get?
-Finding work afterwards
Is it hard to find a job in the area?
Is it hard to find a job with the diploma?

An answer to any of the previous questions would be of great help. Also,
any tips you can give me would be great, as I have to make a decision very
soon.

Thanks,
Alex

I like here a lot

You have been warned pal.

I am a current student here at IUSD, and the atmosphere is terrible.

The instructors think they are tyrants and can fail you for a module and make you repeat another year. It happened to me and I had to repeat another semester which held me back a year.

Plus the tuition at Indiana is very expensive if you are a non-resident. Non-resident students pay non-resident tuition ALL four or whatever years you stay at this nazi dental school.

Plus PBL curriculum is horrible here. Go to UCSF! They don't have PBL garbage curriculum!

DON"T COME HERE!!! Go to UCSF! At least you will be in San Fran and the Bay Area is much better than living in boring Indy.
