UDM Predental Workshop

Hi all,

Did any of you attend UDM's predental workshop last year? I'm thinking of going next month. How was it? Did you get much exposure to dental technical activities (toothwaxing, impressions, etc.)? Or was it mostly presentations about the school and dental school in general? I'd like to know how the weekend usually goes; I did a similar thing a few years ago at another school, and I'm debating whether or not to attend because I'd be coming from out of state.

Thanks Jeffity! I was actually wondering because I paid close to $500 for the other workshop I attended (and it was just tooth waxing), so I thought maybe this was more info session type since it's so much cheaper. But then again, maybe it's because the other weekend workshop was more of a course since you get a certificate of completion at the end...

I'll be there this year. I'm Canadian and live in the Niagara Region. Only a 3.5 hour drive from the school 🙂

Anyone going to this tomorrow? I'm at the hotel they recommended to stay at. Of course it would be right next to the airport lol.
