Firstly, congrats to everyone that heard good news yesterday and good luck to everyone else!! 🙂

I received acceptances from UDM and Indiana and I'm having trouble making a decision. I'm Canadian so tuition will amount to about the same for both. Any insight would be helpful! Thanks 🙂

Bump! Any info would be helpful. I gotta get my deposit in before I leave for vacation for I'm hoping to make a decision soon. Thanks in advance for your input 🙂

udm is a great school, It is in Detroit but living in midtown Detroit is actually a lot of fun and a lot safer than many think. I used to live in midtown so this is first hand experience, Also UDM is very high on clinical experience you will get a great education there. I interviewed at both udm and Indiana as well, but UDM has a lot newer equipment also. Only difference is Indiana is much cheaper. Message me for more info on Detroit if you want

I'm not too familiar with either area, and I was in and out of both cities pretty quickly after my interviews so I didn't get to explore much. Why is living in Detroit better?

Is Detroit the most dangerous city in the U.S.? How live in there can be fun if Detroit has the highest criminal rate? I would go to a safer city.

there is scary parts and safer parts in every city. You would obviously living in the safer area of Detroit. I lived there for two years for college did not have one bad experience and had the time of my life. If you do research on the city of Detroit right now you would see it is really on the come up.

I agree with dentalschneez. Plus when I was there the profs and students said that Detroit was slowly recovering and people are coming back to the city.
