UDM vs. IU (OOS)

Trying to decide between IU and UDM currently leaning towards UDM but wanted to know what people on here think especially any current or former students at these schools.
I'm OOS for both schools.

I definitely liked the look of Indiana more but the students and UDM seemed happier being there and I think UDMs slaughter cheaper but not exactly sure how much.
Also the food in Detroit was a lot better.

Edit: just calculated and found that UDM should be 30-40k cheaper based on $1800 a month spent on living costs.

I just wanted to get people's opinions on both schools but definitely leaning towards UDM
