UF interview-need help!!

i have an interview at UF coming up next week, wud anyone be able to give me advice on which hotel to stay at (ie, which are closest tot he med school), how traffic is, and any other advice that you may have. thanks so much!

Congrats on the UF interview! You're going to love that place. 🙂
I stayed at the Hampton in Gainesville. Rates aren't that bad (~$60-$80), and it's only about five minutes from Shands. Although there are some places that might be a little closer (like University Center Holiday Inn), they're not really as nice because they get pretty crowded/noisy/trashy from the football games crowd.
I stressed about the traffic on Archer Road, but it turned out to be no problem. Give yourself about fifteen minutes and you should have plenty of time to spare.

There's a hotel on campus that is available for students of Gainseville and those who are interviewing. It's very close to the med school buildings and very cheap. The rooms are nice too.
