According to my UIC application status, an ATA certified translation of my dental diploma is missing. I had sent a certified and notarized translations from a competent translator, but he was not ATA certified. Unfortunately, ATA does not certify translators in Turkish. Its not one of the dozen or so languages they certify.

Anyone have similar problems? The deadline is approaching and I don't want my application to be incomplete. I have left messages with UIC but no one calls back.

Did you check the ATA site, there should be Turkish translation. UIC is asking for an ATA certified translation I am afraid this is the only way.

Hey,
It happened to me too.
But guess what I did ?
I said " SCREW YOU"
And I went and got accepted in another university.
You might as well do that.
Good luck.
