When I called in early Jan to schedule my interview for late-feb, I asked the admissions lady if the chicago campus is full. She says, given my interview date (2/21), I will not be competing for a space at that campus.
Granted, numerous spaces at the chicago campus will be available as applicants drop out and choose to attend elsewhere. I personally know several students who got into UIC in april and still end up at the chicago campus. Good luck.
