hi, Fernadita23 and king123, i have my interview on 24. i could not understand what were you reply to on Aug. 11 and 12 regarding the iv experience. can you please share it especially king123 when you asked about panoramic. also how was your iv. can you please share your experience.

anybody intervieing after the 27th or are they done with interviews in aug.
 
Is it over guys for interview no more or there is still a chance? when they will send a rejection?
 
I hate to be the one to give this news out but all the interviews will be done in the month of august. So good luck to those who were invited.
 
Yeah that's right. And also they will be calling or mailing people ANY TIME NEXT month so:xf:good luck to everyone!. Any hispanic person in this chat who IV this year at UIC?
 
I thought they conduct a second batch of interviews in october. correct me if I am wrong

I think they are pretty prompt with emails compared to other schools.Maybe they are now busy with interviews, so the delay in replying.
 
Noo I have not...I wish!!!
But for what I see here we are all waiting...tick tack tick tack...Im on intensive prayer mood:xf:
 
last yr some people had mentioned getting a phone call.this yr not sure.😕
 
has uic contacted anybody regd acceptances yet. people those who interviewed plz post
 
does anyone have a clue of when they will send acceptances or how many were interviewed this yr
 
UIC interviewed 90 people this year and they will start inform people from September till December
 
My understanding it is done. maybe they will consider later interviews but how Braulia told me: interviews all August, decisions-till December.

how come they haven't send rejection letters for rest of us to rest in peace.!!!
i can't understand this university . they don't even answer emails!!!
 
Yes ,they should send a rejection letter or at least when we check the status on line it is still show pending ,so what is this mean???????🙁

Ya they all seem busy and interested with those who got accepted. Rest like us may not even received a rejection e-mail for few months!!
 
I know how you guys are feeling. I have applied to other schools and believe me some of them NEVER send rejection letters!. I payed 2,500.00 dollars at nova for my bench and never got a letter after my IV I had to go myself and talk to the admissions dr to find out why I did not get in. Other school like Minnesota were great before and after the IV. At UIC they use to answer all the phone calls and get back very soon with email. But last couple of weeks everyone I know are having a hard time comunicating with them. We just get a voice mail. I guess they are busy trying to figure who got in since nobody has been call yet. And many of us are calling like crazy so that's the reason they are not answering. Anyway lets stay positive I have a friend who IV at UIC and has 2 more IVs comming in so if he gives up one of the three he said he will give up UIC...there is always hope WHAT IS FOR YOU IS FOR YOU. I have spend a lot of money in this process but at the end would be worth it!. HOPE HOPE...FAITH AND BELIEVE!!!:luck:

everyone is getting the jitters now.according to my own understanding i think UIC has interviewd 48 candidates so far coz they were interviewing twice a week with a batch of 6 people so it is 6*8=48 for the month of august when they were conducting interviews.now i think its just a matter of time when they start sending acceptances to 30 lucky ones and maybe keep 5 in the alternate list.once these 30 people send them their answers and say 20 of them accept the offer(maybe more will do as its difficult to get anywhere these days) ,the alternate list will get cleared and for the remaining 5 they will again call maybe 15-20 people for interviews by nov, maybe thats the reason they r not sending rejection to anybody right now.
All this is just my understanding of the process,i don't have any facts and i don't know things for sure.but just thought of sharing this since everybody is so tensed about UIC.\

I called UIC and they have already prepared the list of accepted students. They have as many as 40 students in the alternate list. Those who got interviewed Keep your fingers crossed ... Good luck
 
Could you please tell when did you call them?
Also did they say when they are sending the acceptance letters for those who got in?

40 in the alternate list and 30 accepted ,it means a total of 70 but where all those people who were interviewed and if they finished all interviews in August how did they manage 90 people??

I dont know if it was twice a week interviews.....because there were interviews on 10,11,12,13 aug for sure.....dont know about other weeks......

Hi CEREC, I was also invited to the interview . did you hear something from them yet????? And will the tell us if we are not excepted ????. Do you have any idea when and how the are going to tell us. Phone or e-mail ?
 
I talked to braulia Espinosa... I didn't ask her how they gonna send acceptance and rejection letters.. I didn't make it into acceptance list ... They did interviews everyday during august@ 3 per day .. That comes to 90 ... But 40 in the waiting list surprised me

I called them today morning

so that means they have sent out acceptances already.i mean if they r telling over the phone that u made or not.did she say if u were in the waiting list.
I mean can we call and ask as well instead of going crazy waiting.😱
