i got a call for the 16th....not sure what to expect....b/w very scared....ii do think they look at the whole package....as my scores arnt that great
 
people who have their interview before do write thier experience
 
they have 30 seats this yr.last yr they interviewed people till nov 3 so i am guessing this yr there r still many more invitations coming

i would think so coz people got call even in oct last year from what i heard

Hello everyone, I was just wondering that I have applied UIC with
part1-86
Toefl- 84
gpa-2.7
with some experiances in dental and nondental field as well as volentier work.
Do you think I have any chance of getting interview call from UIC..
 
when does the first batch start interviewing.is it the 9th.plz share how u r prepaing for the dental portion of the interview

Is it really essential to be US citizen or Permanent Resident to be eligibe to apply for UIC program?

hey chika, it is a requirement to be a us citizen or perm resident to apply to uic for the idp , for more info check UIC Dental Website
 
Goldentist. I got an IV at UIC and my stats are not so great!. I think you just have to improve your TOEFL score. It is very important for must of the schools that you speak a good english!. Good luck!

i am really confused myself what to focus on what not to.........where can i read about crown preperations from....any idea......since i dont have my fixed prostho book with me.....
 
i have no clue how to go about with the clinical part how are you guys preparing for it....any advises?

Dint the interviews start yesterday? I think someone got a call for Aug 5th. How many people are interviewed in each batch? Any idea?

hi harry747 , i havent interviewed as yet, but to answer your question uic interviews are held in two phases : 1st phase in August and 2nd phase around mid Oct- Nov. Best of luck !!!
 
Well I guess people dont want to share their experience in the IV.
Mine is on the 23rd and I will post everything about it. I believe what is for you is for you so I promise I will share.👍

i agree with fernandita,i dont know y people r not sharing their uic exp.guess they r sworn to secrecy or something...lol
 
you know what guys dont rely on others coz its no point....do your best however you can....best of luck...........
b/w i have my interview on 16th and i am as confused as others on the interview process....so you are not alone.....

i think its not true this time. i called the admission coordinator of uic and she said they have already invited 95 students for the month of august so it seems like wemay not call more students for interview. So i think if she is saying it it means its over as far more interviews are concerned

yea, i asked but she said that applications would be opened till Nov as per rules. 95 students for 30 seats have already been invited so u can think it is very rare they will send the invitations again. Also, they give preference to those who have taken the nb2.
