Recently, the UK Foundation Programme Office announed that they will be implementing the scoring contingency plan for the August 2012 intake, as there have been many more applications than there are FY spots.
According to their website,
"...applications from individuals who did not provide proof of their right to work in the UK by 7 October 2011 will not be considered. These applicants will now be withdrawn from the national process."

Does anyone know if this also means that non-EU students currently studying in the UK on a student/Tier 4 visa will be removed from the matching process ie. will final year non-EU medical students in UK universities not be allowed to continue on to FY training?
Just wondering. Thanks!
