I would say that the ukcat is MUCH easier than the MCAT, at least it was for me. I studied for it for about 3 hours a day for a month and that was sufficient. It has 4 sections: verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, abstract reasoning (finding patterns is groups), and decision analysis (decoding messages). I think the first 2 sections I mentioned are pretty straight forward but I found there was major time pressure. I found that practicing really helped improve my mark for the latter two sections. I would recommend studying by finding free practice questions on the internet. I also bought some practice questions from one of the ukcat practice sites, if you feel like you need more practice.
