Gradschool 2012 you need to learn how to use google maps. It is only about 30 minutes by metro and about the same by car depending on traffic. Also it is about 40 minutes from Baltimore. The area is not super nice and it is a little pricey but you can find nice and affordable places if you do some looking. The program is usually in the 5-7 student range. There are funding opportunities both in the department and outside the department. While out of the department is not ideal all of the students have funding in some form. Definitely a program to put at the top of your list.
Ok, it is a few miles from the BORDER of the District of Columbia, but certainly further from the center. As for the area, perhaps since I attended Temple University for my undergrad, I have a different concept of what a bad area is, but it seemed perfectly fine when I went trough there.
Yeah, I just got a letter saying I've been placed on the waitlist. Hopefully it works out.
Can one of you guys decline your acceptance for me? 😛
I'm flattered. I think?Ha! Dusty, you remind me of my brother's dog. She's not happy with just one bone; she'll stick it at the back of her mouth and go steal another dog's bone, too! 🙂
Nonsense. You're staying down south.
By the way I got into UAMS with an assistantship, I guess I made a good impression on them.I'm flattered. I think?
If I resembled any dog, it would have to be this one:
